Haverhill Artex Removal

Artex is used to put artex ceilings back to a flat smooth finish ready to decorate. Depending on the pattern on the ceiling (stipple or a light pattern) the ceiling can be scraped, then PVA the ceiling and apply 2 coats of finishing plaster to the ceiling troweled to a smooth flat finish, ready to decorate.

If there is a deep pattern, I need to remove coving (if there is any) and then apply new plaster boards screwed to ceiling joists and then tape the joints with fibre glass scrim tape. I then, apply two coats of finishing plaster to a smooth finish, ready to decorate.
